Meeting quality marks
True® is not a quality mark. Articles that carry the True® label can (and must) meet certain quality marks, used in our industry such as Oeko-Tex, GRS, REMOkey or Cradle to Cradle.
The exact quality marks vary per item. There should and cannot be any doubt about the origin of the materials and the production method used. This is verified by an independent audit company, outside our sphere of influence.
Independently certified
The Honeycomb fabrics in this collection that are labelled with the True® trademark, are all made of 85% post-consumer recycled polyester. They are independently certified. By purchasing a True® product instead of a product made of virgin polyester, you reduce your carbon footprint and therefore contribute to a better future. Interested in the True story? Calculation of environmental savings by REMOkey
REMOkey® calculates the environmental savings in terms of CO2eq emissions, energy and water consumption. The calculation is based on a Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach, which considers only the replacement of the raw material with recycled material. This analysis is carried out using the ‘Modint Ecotool’ software, developed by CE Delft, based on generally accepted LCA databases, international studies, literature and company data.
